Manuel Canaveris (1787–1830) was a Argentine army officer, Lieutenant in the Regiment of Patricians.
== Personal life ==
Canaveris was born on September 15, 1787 in Buenos Aires, was the son of Juan Canaveris and Bernarda Esparza.
Manuel Canaveris was married to María Angeles Rodríguez Calderón, daughter of Basilio Rodriguez and Anselma Calderón, and possible descendant of Pedro Rodriguez Flores.
Their daughter, María de Canaveris Rodríguez Calderón married Juan de Michelena del Pino, son of the Captain Juan Ángel Michelena, military born in the city of Maracaibo and supporter of the king's forces during the wars for independence. Juan Michelena husband of María Canaveris, was maternal grandson of Joaquín del Pino and nephew of Bernardino Rivadavia.
His eldest son S. Camilo Canaveris married Manuela Pelliza, daughter of Major Francisco Pelliza. After his first wife died, S. Camilo Canaveris married Quintina Páez, (born in Montevideo) and possible maternal granddaughter of Ramón de Amaya.
